CodeAchi Libcodesk Standalone is the installed application for libraries that want to manage their daily work from a controlled device. This page describes the Local Setup licensing path, formerly offered as CodeAchi Library Management System.
Yes. Normal Local Setup library work does not require a continuous internet connection. Initial registration, online activation, software updates, support, or selected connected services may still require internet access.
Library records are maintained in the Local Setup on the selected device. The library is responsible for protecting that device and maintaining safe, current backup copies.
Yes. Available import workflows help libraries bring prepared records into Libcodesk. Configure libraries, staff access, membership plans, and related settings first so imported data can be checked correctly.
Libcodesk includes scanner-friendly barcode and QR workflows for cataloguing and circulation. Confirm any specialized hardware requirement with CodeAchi before purchase.
Local Setup is intended for one controlled device. Libraries that need simultaneous access for several staff members, browser access, remote work, or multiple locations should consider Libcodesk Cloud.
No. Local Setup and Cloud Setup are separate data environments and local records do not silently synchronize to Cloud. Contact CodeAchi if you need guidance about a planned migration.
The current CodeAchi download page provides the Standalone installer for Windows 10 and Windows 11. Always review the latest system requirements before installing.
