Download questions
Answers before you install
Can I download CodeAchi library management software for free?
Yes. The Windows installer provides the Community plan so a library can evaluate the available standalone workflows before choosing a paid license. Plan limits and paid options are shown on the standalone pricing page.
Which Windows versions are supported?
The current 64-bit standalone installer is intended for supported Windows 10 and Windows 11 computers. Check the system requirements on this page before installation.
Can the standalone library software work without continuous internet?
Normal Local Setup work can continue without a continuous connection. Internet access is still required for initial registration, activation, software updates, support, and selected connected services.
Does the installer include the complete application?
Yes. The installer sets up the complete CodeAchi Libcodesk Windows application. The functions and limits available after setup depend on the selected license plan.
Will ordinary barcode scanners and printers work?
Keyboard-style USB barcode scanners generally work with scanner-ready fields. Barcode and document printers require a compatible Windows driver. Confirm specialized RFID, scanner, or printer requirements before purchase.
What should I do before updating an existing installation?
Close the application, finish active work, and create a verified backup of the current Local Setup. Keep that backup separate until the updated application has opened and your records have been checked.
