Annual Maintenance Contract (AMC) Policy

An Annual Maintenance Contract (AMC) is crucial for ensuring the longevity and optimal performance of your software. It provides access to essential benefits such as regular updates, technical support, and the ability to transfer your software to new machines. These services not only keep your software up-to-date with the latest features and security enhancements but also ensure that any issues are promptly resolved by experts. Choosing software without an AMC might seem cost-effective initially, but it often leads to higher costs and risks in the long run due to the lack of updates, support, and potential compatibility issues. Standalone Deployment

  • Optional AMC: For standalone deployment, AMC is optional.
  • Lifetime License: The standalone license is valid for the lifetime of the machine on which it is installed.
  • First Year AMC Included: AMC benefits are active for the first year upon software purchase.

Server Deployment

  • Mandatory AMC: For server deployment, AMC is required.
  • AMC Benefits: Includes free updates, machine change, technical support, and discounts on license upgrades.

AMC Benefits

For both Server and Standalone deployments, the AMC provides the following benefits:

  • Free Updates: Stay current with the latest features and improvements.
  • Machine Change: Transfer the software to a new machine if needed.
  • Technical Support: Access our technical support team for assistance.
  • Discount on License Upgrade: Enjoy discounts on any license upgrades.

AMC Renewal and Discontinuation

  • AMC Duration: Valid for one year from the date of purchase/renewal.
  • Renewal Reminder: Multiple prompts will be provided by the software/email/calls before AMC expires.
  • Discontinuation Consequences: If AMC is not renewed after the first year, the following services will be discontinued:
    1. Free updates
    2. Machine change
    3. Technical support
    4. Discount on license upgrades

Technical Support Without AMC

If AMC is not renewed, technical support is available on a pay-per-session basis:

  • Support Ticket: USD $20 (or equivalent) per session/issue.
  • Multiple Issues: Each issue requires a separate support ticket.

Late Renewal Penalty

If AMC is renewed after 60 days of discontinuation, a penalty fee will apply:

  • Penalty Fee: USD $30 (or equivalent) in addition to the regular AMC fee.

Payment Terms

  • AMC Fee: The AMC fee must be paid annually.
